How to know if you are ready for your first animation

The kind of animation that am talking about here is not the test animation that you do after learning something new inside blender, I am talking about a serious animation that you plan to upload on Youtube or vimeo . Here is a simple test to see if you are ready

1. You have a good solid story with every shot story-boarded
Well without a story you can't do an animation unless you just want to show off some cool visuals , a story is the basic thing . Why should it be story-boarded, well story boards have been used for ages to give you are reference of what is going to be done and how each shot is going to look like

2. You know how to move a camera
This is not just a "move" that am talking about NOTE: In cinematography, camera moves can create emotions so if one knows the emotions involved in every camera move , can sync them with the emotions of the characters

3. You know how to light a scene
Yes once again lighting is also connected to emotions you can have lighting for happy moments, creepy moments, epic moments etc

4. You know how to do compositing
Do you know how to add depth of field and when to add it and so many other aspects of compositing???

5. Can you do post production, add sounds , background music and other sound effects

Well if don't know all this then don't give up, animation is not easy here is some advice  learn cinematography   and psychology of the media industry
